Description

The FALCON PT27 5-inch Stainless Steel Grinding Disc is positioned as a versatile everyday grinding solution for professional stainless steel fabrication. With a 125×6.0×22.2 mm configuration, it provides a useful increase in grinding coverage over smaller 100 mm and 115 mm discs while remaining compact enough for routine workshop operations.

The 125 mm format is particularly suitable for customers who do not want to maintain separate small and large grinding tools for every job. It can handle a broad range of stainless steel grinding tasks, including weld seam processing, deburring, edge preparation, material correction and rough surface grinding.

Our grinding disc is designed for stainless steel and inox applications and is suitable for commonly processed grades such as 304, 316, and 201 stainless steel. Our abrasive formulation is developed to provide consistent material removal while maintaining a controlled grinding surface for stainless steel fabrication and finishing work. With a 6.0 mm thickness, our grinding disc provides a stable working profile for everyday grinding operations, delivering reliable performance across a wide range of stainless steel applications.

The Type 27 depressed-center design makes the disc suitable for compatible angle grinders. The 22.2 mm bore is matched to the standard 5-inch grinder configuration. The disc has a maximum peripheral speed of 80 m/s and a maximum operating speed of 12,200 RPM.

One of the strongest characteristics of the 125 mm version is versatility. It is large enough to cover a useful working area but not so large that it becomes inconvenient for everyday fabrication. This makes it suitable for workshops where operators regularly switch between stainless steel plates, tubes, frames, brackets, equipment parts and fabricated assemblies.
